In the past I have kept melodramatic accounts of my life in journals, online and on paper, but the depressing mope-y vibe doesn't suit my personality anymore. What you can expect are a couple of run-on sentences per paragraph, tied together by sarcasm and wit, nothing else is guaranteed.
I am currently waiting for the clock to hit 2pm, so I can drive across the bridge to meet up with a boy. A boy, who shall be referred to as Machinal. He goes to San Francisco State University, like me. We will go to coffee and if all goes well, we will end up at his apartment or house where we will partake in cuddling and flirty giggling. Unfortunately for me, I am not a Castro-Gay. (Pause. Read the definition below.) This means, that my odds of making it past the best friend with the heart-of-gold but still a wilderbeast character, are really slim. Nonetheless, I am going out there and attempting to date.
The title expresses how I am currently feeling about the “gays.” There’s the admirer, who happens to only like someone based on their appearance, and that (to me) makes them an ass-h***. Kind of simple really. Well time to be stereotypical and go do my hair before I go on this date.
Castro-Gay: This man can be defined as the stereotypical gay. Not all of them partake in taking drugs and having sex into the morning hours. The Castro-Gay can include the socialista gay, the hypocritical gay, the twink, the fashionista, etc. The majority of them search for perfection, but are not perfect themselves. We can call them hoes for the most part, for if a man is shirtless and remotely belligerent they will jump on them like dogs in heat. It must be stated, that there are a select few that go to the Castro to just dance among friends, and the term Castro-Gay is meant to describe the stereotype. It is not to be confused with the Old-Castro-Gay, who is hetero-normitive and wishes that the bars would go away so he can settle down and live in peace without heards of gays puking all over his stairs.
**italics were used to express my fascination with Margaret Cho, and to remind myself to give her credit for her amazing knowledge of the gays.**
Man of the Day:
Machinal- Adorable white-guy that goes to San Francisco State, Theater Major. Performed in one of my favorite SFSU Theater Productions last semester. Currently 22 years old.
